Moreover, if Rohit scores 42 runs in the last ODI, he will also become the ninth Indian batsman to score 1000 runs in all formats on Sri Lankan soil.
Along with Rohit, Virat Kohli also has a chance to complete 1000 runs in ODIs against Sri Lanka on their home ground. Currently Kohli is at 903 runs and he will have to play an innings of 97 runs to reach this milestone. The question is, will he be able to do it after failing in the first two matches?
